Tobias has many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, has held various positions and roles and is a highly respected expert in his field. As Chief Operating Officer (COO) Tobias is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of EMVO. He reports directly to the General Manager and is considered to be second in the chain of command. From a broader perspective, his goal is to provide leadership and ensure that the company is maintaining its goals from both operational and cultural points of view.
In his previous positions at Boehringer Ingelheim and Germany’s National Medicines Verifications Organisation Tobias was responsible for the development of business areas and the implementation of Directive 2011/62/EU.
Furthermore, he is active in various Stakeholder Groups (EAEPC, EFPIA, GIRP, Medicines for Europe and PGEU), representing EMVO vis-à-vis authorities (e.g. EU Commission) and is speaker and panel member at many congresses and conventions.
